Every scan runs through three layers:

• Threat databases — checked against Google Safe Browsing, the URLhaus abuse feed, and a cached OpenPhish feed

• Redirect unmasking — shortened and redirecting links are followed to their real, final destination before being checked

• On-device heuristics — punycode/homoglyph tricks, raw IP hosts, known shortener domains, suspicious TLDs, brand typosquatting, phishing keywords, and credentials embedded in URLs are all flagged automatically, even offline
