If you photograph this coloured cryptogram with the camera integrated in your smartphone or tablet ("mobile"), the data it contains is decrypted and displayed on your mobile. Personal activation ensures that the cryptogram can only be decrypted by your mobile.

For the MobileTAN, your mobile does not require an Internet connection.
